EDIT ..... ill try this again
Hey guys
Im going to do a diy build
I built my first one 6 years ago out of a simple bucket using lots of the info from Garry Gilmore and many others
Fast forward to now and the community im in would love one of these !!
I will attach a drawing I’ve done up and yes, I know it looks very familiar but I figure if it aint broke don’t fix it lol
I phoned a mate Brett yesterday (Friday) and told him what I planned to do (he loves the idea and is part of this community that is growing daily ) and asked if he could cut it all out and fold it up for me?
He got pretty excited when I told him what I had planned buuuuuuutttttttt said he is extremely busy and couldn’t do it for 2 to 3 weeks unless we do it on a weekend
And it gets worse …… his cnc is being repaired as we speak
But the good news is that because the machine isn’t in operation his guy that runs the machine is bored and can cut (by hand) and fold all the pieces and I would have to cut out the inner little bits and piece buy hand
I figure that being a prototype and wanting to make sure we can even get it to work that this will be fine for now
I have just had a call from brett to say its all done and ready to pick up
Wow he didn’t muck around !!!! I will take a couple of pics when I pick them up today an d report back
Looks like we are starting the build sooner then I had anticipated
Now just to find time to put it all together
Hi
Can I get diagram of your gasifier generator. I want to try myself because I m from Myanmar. It so far from you.
For the rope seal. We do not use rope seal. We use a ceramic flange seal used on giant foundry ovens.
I got a little bit done today
Probably won't have time to do too much over the next few days with work but we will see what happens
Here's a few pics
Taken in the dark beause I forgot to take some today and just thought about it now 🙂
ok so im doing some shopping
im finding it tough to find a needle valve here in oz that isnt going to break the bank
i have found this one that should do the trick
Stainless Steel Needle Valve 1/4” | eBay
what do u think
and is it better to go 20mm on the rope gasket or will 10mm be fine
Just got back from Brett's and here's what I got
I think there is still a couple of pieces missing but most of its there
LOL you are pretty funny. HAHA!
Thats cool, take a look at the ammo box unit. That has the basis of the design along with filters, jet nozzles etc. Show some pics as you go.
Some good news is the CNC torch height controller arrived today. So hopefully it will be back up and cranking out parts on Monday :)
