Ok those wondering what this thing is, Ill explain this better here. As Ive mentioned before I try to keep our listings straight to the point.
This is a very simple and effective inline filter. It consist of a two manifolds; an inlet side and an outlet side. These simply bolt together with a filter felt membrane sandwiched in-between the two manifolds. Now this filter can easily be expanded by adding cores in-between the manifolds to add additional membranes. You can add them indefinitely.
This is set up inline of the gas hose and you want to have this as close to the engine as possible to give the gas maximum cooling time before reaching this filter. You can then set up your mixer valve assembly here at this filter instead of hanging it off the engine carburetor. That way you release the stress from vibration of this heavy mass hanging off the carburetor; this can lead to broken bolts. Its also easier to make adjustments as engine vibration can make this more difficult.
All M-1 Utility RTR machines will now come with a single plain membrane filter.
Saw dust from a chain saw. That is just one option, there are no rules to what you can use. You can use other media that are available to you. But if you are processing wood for the system, you will most likely have plenty of saw dust to use :)
